Michael Rabatin has been immersed in the design industry for 30+ years. In addition to serving as the Managing Director for the NY Luxury Design Fair, he oversees all marketing for the A&D Building, a NYC design institution. Michael began his career in advertising, working for venerable book publishers Macmillan and Harper & Row Publishing Companies before transitioning into the business of luxury fashion and interiors, where he spent 14 years in senior management at Polo Ralph Lauren in New York. As Vice President of the iconic stable of brands, he was responsible for Ralph Lauren Interiors and oversaw the management of Polo Store Development, Creative Services, and the RL Home Design Studio. Previously, Michael served as the Marketing Director for the Architectural Digest Design Show for 7 years and was an integral part of the annual show’s continued success.
KATHLEEN HOGAN
Director of Sales
Kathleen Hogan has spent the better part of two decades working with artists, designers, and makers as a creative ambassador—rendering her a perfect choice as Director of Sales for the NY Luxury Design Fair. Her career has led her to travel the world, employing a trained eye to identify and curate the highest caliber of emerging talent to engage in various events. In Chicago, as VP at theMART, Kathleen has led various teams in the successful launch and execution of numerous, exclusive art events in both Chicago and New York. Additionally, Kathleen leads the sales efforts of the One of a Kind Shows in Chicago—an annual artist marketplace event that includes over 600 exhibitors and is attended by 70,000 attendees.
JEFF PETERSEN
Director of Sales
Jeff has devoted much of his career consulting with companies that provide products and services to interior designers, architects and affluent homeowners. As Director of Sales for the Architectural Digest Design Show from 2013 to 2020, Jeff worked to provide rewarding experiences for hundreds of luxury design exhibitors. Previously, he spent many years in advertising sales management at Architectural Digest, where he led teams in the US and abroad across the fine home design, building, and remodeling categories. In addition to his position at NLYDF, Jeff is the Director of Leasing for the Architects & Designers Building in New York.
